What will happen if the transformer fails?

Under this scheme, if the transformer installed in the fields gets damaged, then in that case a new transformer will be installed in its place by the Electricity Department. For this, first the farmer will have to deposit 75 percent of the total amount of the transformer amount in advance, along with this, the transformer will be replaced by the department only after depositing 40 percent of the total outstanding amount of his electricity bill.

There is a provision to replace the transformer only after depositing the outstanding amount and the amount of the transformer. For this, an offline application has to be made and a copy of the receipt of deposit of the amount has to be attached along with it.

Transformer will be available in two hours

Under this scheme, the government of Madhya Pradesh also claims that only after the application of the applicant, the transformer will be installed in the farmer’s field within the next 2 hours, this is being claimed by the government and the department.

It is being told that there will be a stock of more than 8 thousand transformers in every district of the state, after which it can be ensured that the farmers will be given the facility of transformers in the next 2 hours for the purpose of the scheme.
